NATA, USA, was conceptualized in mid-2000. It began with 8 Trade Associations and was registered as a corporation in the State of Delaware in October 2001. Today, we are one united NATA with 14 individual Trade Associations across 11 states. Our member store count totals 4,036 convenience stores and gas stations. Collectively, our members employ more than 20,000 people. Gross sales in 2010 were more than $19 billion with $4 billion of that being inside store sales and $15 billion being in fuel. Our member stores paid city, county and state taxes of roughly $2.5 billion in 2010. That is $6.4 million paid in taxes daily.
The National Alliance of Trade Associations is an organization dedicated to uniting Trade Associations across the United States to leverage the synergy of joint purchasing power and consummate National Deals with major vendors in the convenience store industry.
